Warning about the missing quotes in future PHP

Hello,
After every update of WordPress File Upload I am getting the following warning (in the debugging mode):
“Warning: Use of undefined constant COOKIEHASH – assumed ‘COOKIEHASH’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ../../../wp-content/plugins/wp-file-upload/wfu_loader.php on line 33.”

I was fixing this error myself by putting the quotes around the word COOKIEHASH on line 33. Could you please fix the above mentioned issue in the future updates. Thank you.

Responsive CSS Changes

A few have asked about making CSS changes to the post nav and ive added the CSS which you should change below.

Below is the default css for responsive screen sizes. You can make modifications within you child theme / customiser adding !important after each declaration to make the modification on the front end.

Ive removed the ones which would normally not apply, and bolded what should be changed. The whole file is accessible within the /public folder under css.

@media only screen and (max-width: 48em) {

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-previous-default {
height: 10vh;
width: 45vw;
line-height: 19px;
bottom: 5vh;

left: 0;
z-index: 100;
padding:10px;
}

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-previous-default:before {
content: url(‘../images/left-arrow.png’);
position:fixed;
bottom:50%;
right:0;
margin-right:10px;
transform:translateY(70%);
}

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-next-default {
height: 10vh;
width: 45vw;

line-height: 19px;
bottom: 5vh;
right: 0;
z-index: 100;
padding:10px;
}

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-next-default:before {
content: url(‘../images/right-arrow.png’);
position:fixed;
bottom:50%;
transform:translateY(70%);
}

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-next-default .post-nav-title {
text-align:center;
font-size:12px;
text-transform:capitalize;
margin-bottom:3%;
margin-top:12%;
margin-left:20px;

}

.wp-post-nav #post-nav-previous-default .post-nav-title {
text-align:center;
font-size:12px;
text-transform:capitalize;
margin-bottom:3%;
margin-top:12%;
margin-right:20px;

}
}

Hi,

really interesting plugin. I have two questions:

1. where are the CSS statements recorded? In a DB table I guess.

2. in case of plugin unistall are the modifications kept or lost?
Thanks

Install for a client using an ancient theme and trying to quickly ramp up WooCommerce to solve staff overload on phone ordering during COVID-19 quarantine. Worked perfectly and helped solve the problem of bulk-printing orders.

Future add on suggestion — print all orders with details on a single page to help with order fulfillment for less techie teams.

Is that something you should fix?

Great set of tools for Elementor

There seem to be a lot of Elementor add-on tools out there, and I’ve tried a few, but Essential Addons is my favorite. They keep things consistently updated, and are adding new widgets all the time. It seems to run efficient on my website and I have zero complaints.

WP-Admin login now takes 1-2 minutes or longer

I am still using WP 5.3 but have updated all plugins. Note that I only use a handful and only one theme (minimalist blogger).

For the past few days, all of a sudden, it seems I can barely login to the admin area. It used to take maybe 3-4 seconds; it now takes 1-2 minutes or even longer. It starts at the point I enter the URL to go to my domain/WP-ADMIN. When the page finally loads my user name and password, it takes another 1-2 minutes before I can actually login.

I tried searching for solutions, but everything I read is over my head technically. None of it makes sense. Obviously, something has happened, but I don’t know where to even start to try and figure this out.

Please advise…and TYIA.

RSS feed can’t be fetched

Hi!

On March 16th, I got an email from Pinterest saying, “Your RSS feed can not be fetched. Please make sure that the feed URL can be opened.” I didn’t get a chance to check it out, and then on April 5th, 6th, and 7th I got additional emails saying the same, so I finally took a peek last night.

According to the W3C feed validator –

“This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

line 33, column 0: Use of unknown namespace: com-wordpress:feed-additions:1 (11 occurrences) [help]

<site xmlns=”com-wordpress:feed-additions:1″>57684931</site> <item>”

I disabled all my plugins (15) and turned them back on one by one, and ran the validator each time. Jetpack is the only plugin that caused the error – when it’s disabled and the other 14 are running, I get this result from the validator –

“Congratulations! This is a valid RSS feed.”

Any help getting this resolved would be appreciated.

Thank you!

problem loading galleries in gutenberg editor

Hello,

For some time it has been impossible for me to use the “select a gallery” button in gutenberg editor. The window tries to load the galleries. without succeeding.

I tried to disable all plugins and take a basic theme without success.

I tried it on chrome, mozilla and safari with the same result.

I have emptied all the caches as advised in your documentation, the problem persists.

On the other hand, in the console I see 2 JSON errors:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()
index.js?0d2d:5 Uncaught (in promise)
Object
code: “invalid_json”
message: “La réponse n’est pas une réponse JSON valide.”
__proto__: Object

Could you help me with this ?

Thanks.

I’m running an eCommerce website-
If an order is placed on the website, I don’t receive notification email regarding the orders in the corresponding email until I check the website backend. However, the test email worked just fine.

What could be the issue and how do I resolve it?

Thanks
