First of all I’m a novice. I probably should have done some reading before updating to 4.7. But I didn’t. My fault. I built the site about 1 year ago. I regularly go on and update and change a few things here and there.
The other night I went on and saw the 4.7 update. And just clicked. After the update, it just went to a blank page. I could no longer access the dashboard but my site was still ok. I did some reading and through php (cpanel) stopped all plugins. This did not work. I contacted hostgator and they went in and tried to do the same. No go. But whatever they did has shut down 4 of my 5 pages. I only have the home page working now.
I get a blank page with the following in the bar,,,,, omitting site name
wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F
Would you have any suggestions to help. And to note I make regular backups but like an idiot I didn’t transfer them so I have to access my site to get to them. Thank You
