Forced Move of WordPress, stuck after wp-config changes

Hello,
a couple of years ago I set up a wordpress for a podcast of a couple of friends of mine. I did not do much with it after initial setup, just installed updates on a half-year basis.
Fast forward to two weeks ago: I get a call from the podcast guys that the page now only displays the error, that WordPress needs a higher version of php to run…
In the current webspace, I only have an old php version available, so I do an upgrade at my webprovider, where I get a new webspace with newer PHP versions supported and have 30 days to move the old stuff before it gets deleted.
I do the following:
a) I copy all the files via FTP to the new server into the httpdocs folder (and make a copy just in case to my local files)
b) I export a copy of the existing database and import it into the new webspace
c) I create authorication credentials for the new database and put the new credentials in the wp-config
d) I set my .htaccess to the index.php into the wordpress subfolder of httpdocs
I would now expect that there is at least something when I go to that page. But I get an empty, white page when I go to the index.php or the wp-admin page.
At the moment I am stuck with that white page and I hope you might be able to point me in the direction where I can continue. So what is the next step?

Currency Support

Hello,
in the description there is “currency support”. Is the support limited just to set up once the currency (so to display its sign), or do you have functions to support currency CHANGE based on some criteria (for example changing of the language).
My question is – suppose a currency is selected (the default one) and prices are entered. Do you have a FILTER so we can CHANGE the prices on the fly if we need to recalculate them based on the selected currency by the visitorcurren (either trough another plugin or WPML – changing the language).

Clickable areas automatically added

Hi,
Something got screwed up with the latest update of the plugin. Now, when I delete a hotspot and then I save changes, a new hotspot named “Clickable Area #” is automatically added. Also, when saving changes, sometimes URLs in hotspots get erased.

I think I might need some help. My links /menu items in my footer don’t work. I have deactivated almost all my plugins but it still doesn’t work. Is it something in Elementor or is it a bug in the Customify theme??

gallery not showing

Hi,
I have created Masonry Galleries and put them in Tabs, using the Divi Theme. The first tab “Light” has been working great. But I added two more, with the exact same settings, and it won’t display. It just shows one picture, until I resize my browser window, then it displays. Then, after I do that, and go back to “Light” – text and images from the page overlap the gallery.
I can’t figure out what’s going on.

Cart won’t empty with ‘x’ – product removal – no caching plugin used

I am working on a new site with woocommerce. I’m having the issue where the cart will not empty if you try to delete anything. The page will just jump to a “your cart is empty” message, but once you refresh, the products are still there. I have uninstalled every plugin except woocommerce, as well as tried the twenty-nineteen and twenty-seventeen themes, a Genesis theme, and Storefront. I don’t have a caching plugin installed. I’ve looked at my host and disabled caching on the page for the firewall we use. I’ve tried it on different computers/devices as well as different browsers. Nothing I do seems to fix it. I’ve googled the issue and I have tried everything that I can find through searches, but have not gotten it to work at all. Can someone please help. I’ve been stuck on this for days without any changes. Thanks so much.

Give the right to write to WordPress

Since I installed the plugin iThemes Security, it is impossible for the other plugin like WPRocket to read and write in the .htaccess file.
Can you tell me how to do it because each time, about once a day, I have to connect to FileZilla to give wordpress write rights.

Random large TTFBs slowing down website

Hey WordPress experts,
I’m having trouble with my WordPress site and cannot for the life of me figure out what’s causing it. For some reason, random files seem to have TTFBs of 40 seconds or over a minute, causing the site to load incredibly slowly. So far here are the steps I’ve taken or things I’ve looked at:
- Logs of the Digital Ocean droplet’s memory usage, bandwidth, CPU, and Disk I/O show that all are consistently low. So it doesn’t appear to be a resources issue.
- After updating all the components didn’t work, we used the Duplicator plugin to literally pickup the site and move it to a new server on Ubuntu 18.04. The problem still exists.
- We tried disabling all plugins, and the problem still existed, so it doesn’t seem to be caused by a faulty plugin either (we don’t have many active ones anyway).
- Rebooting the server seems to fix the problem temporarily (e.g. for an hour or so).
- We use cloudflare as a CDN and everything seems fine there – directly accessing our site by IP also has the problem.
The site has been running fine for over a year and yet in the last 2 weeks has just become unusable, and I have no idea what’s changed. If anyone could provide some insight, I’d be hugely appreciative.
Also, after the problem starts occurring, we also see the following in the Site Health page in reference to the REST API and a loopback request:

good day. I was looking at added a constant contact subscribe pop up to the website last night and may have created an issue.
The mobile version of my home page comes up with the above titled error but the desktop version seems to be fine. I have redone everything that I tried to add last night but cant fix the problem.. HELP!

Adding html/css/javascript app to wordpress page using plugin and shortcode

I’ve created a little web app for my client that utilizes vanilla html/css/javascript to create an interactive infographic. Now I’d like to deliver the app to them so they can easily install it as a plugin and then display it on any page/post they need with a shortcode (i.e. add_shortcode(”,”)…)
But what is the best way to do this specifically with the HTML parts? Can I put the HTML inside of the main php page and link to the css/js files as I normally would? Basically just vanilla html with <?php ?> tags around it? Would that work?

Form Dropbox not working

I’ve read through the articles but still nothing seems to work. I’m trying to get my services form https://www.shopinpart.com/service-request/ to work properly. I added both of these to the Contact 7 Form and renamed the form Service Request. I was able to get the form to redirect to our main page once it is submitted. The problem is that none of the options are included in the email.
Here’s the Contact 7 Additions:

Invalid User Name

I have NADI 2.1.9 installed, ubuntu 18.04, WP 5.2, PHP 7.2.
base dn is just basic dc=example,dc=company,dc=com.
Verify credential works, Test authentication works.
When it comes to login, it doesn’t work. it gives invalid user name. I have no idea why this would not work.
I’m using sAMAccountName as the user name, with Automatic user creation, and Use sAMAccountName for newly created users checked.
I have Authorize by group membership enabled, which I thought it would cause it. I removed all groups and disable it, still get invalid user name.
I must be missing something, if anyone had experienced this, let me know.

where LDAPS encryption method port 3629, it should be 3269 for Global Catalog.
you may want to add ‘TLS_REQCERT never’ in /etc/ldap/ldap.conf since without it, starttls would not work in 389. no need to put active directory certificate and ldap.conf in wordpress root per documentation.
