A gave it a go, I really did, but I’ve now just installed the Classic Editor plugin and gone to that. I didn’t see any advantage in Gutenberg. I could probably handle the learning curve, but when stuff didn’t work, that was the last straw. In my case, I paste from Word for some content where I need continuous numbering. The example is a privacy policy where major paragraphs need to be numbered and there are bullet point lists under these paragraphs. I can do that in Word (it’s not that easy there, but I’ll leave the MS rant for now). I couldn’t figure out how to do that in WP. In Classic Editor I can copy and paste and the numbering is restained. If I do that in Gutenberg, it changes the numbering to bullets. Please don’t foist incomplete improperly tested beta software as the default editor and expect us to suffer the loss of productivity while we test it for you. Happy to have a beta that’s identified as a beta alongside the production release.

I am currently running WordPress 5.2
HP5 worked until I updated the plugin. After updating I can no longer create new content. When I click add new and select, for example Dialog Cards everything freezes.
It shows the title box, (just below Tutorial, and Example) but I can not type into it.
The old content I had created still works.
I have not made any other changes, other than updating the plugin. Is this a conflict with WordPress 5.2. If I delete and reinstall the plugin will I lose the content I have already created?
Any assistance is appreciated.

In “add_to_cart” event name equals id for AJAX links

Problem:
When I add products to cart from catalog page via an ajax link – the “add_to_cart” event fires in my GTM, but the name of the product equals the id (sku) of the product.

When I add products to cart from the product page – the “name” for the added item is detected correctly.

Hi,
Please help me to understand how can i add a partial payment to an invoice.
I explain: My Client X wants to buy a complexe order costing (with differents products) 100 euros for example
He pays 50 euros as partial account before the delivery and installation, and after we deliver the product and we install it, he will pay the others 50 euros.
The client is asking to me to generate 2 invoices!! : one for the partial account (or deposit) of 50% and another for the invoice balance, so the other 50%.
How can i do because i have one order in woocommerce. How can i generate 2 invoices for the same order ?
I don’t want to have to orders… because in the order i have different products… i can’t split the products in 2 orders… it’s so heavy…

Hi,
Building a REST API I starting to get errors when trying to update the user details. The permission_callback callback is not detecting the user as logged in and the ID is returned as 0 or null.
I searched for solutions and WP docs metion the nonce that’s required in order to the user to be logged in. JWT plugin is not sending a nonce to interact, so how can we get the user logged in at the permission_callback?

So, here is a possible solution to the problem me and a lot of other people have experienced.
It looks like Correio made a change last year to how they do the calculations. You now need to have a weight for each of your products. On the site of my customer, there has not been a lot of traffic, and the effect was not immediate. But lately it has been a serious problem, and no customer has been able to order online. I finally came across this website, and after adding the weight to each product, it seems it is now working.

Need help with Redirects

I have just moved a multisite installation to a new host. Everything worked fine on the old host.
I am using a Quick Redirect plugin to redirect urls. I have tried the redirection plugin too. The plugin works with the www, http://www.cmfi.org/signin. Without the www, it does not work, http:///cmfi.org/signin/.
What could be causing that? My multisite is setup to be used with subdomains. Also, if I put the 301 redirect rule directly in the .htaccess file, it works fine with or without www.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hello,
in WooCommerce settings -> Subscriptions -> Switching we have “Allow Switching” set to “Between Subscription Variations”.
When I go to:
– Customer Panel
-> Subscriptions
-> Active subscription -> View
-> Click on button “Switch Subscription”
… I get to the product page where I’m required to select a new variation.
However, after selecting a different variation option and click on “Order Now” I get an error message:
“X Sorry, this product cannot be purchased.”
“i You have a subscription to this product. Choosing a new subscription will replace your existing subscription.”
And I’m returned to the product page again.
Whats the problem here and how to fix it?
