New features (Marketing, Analytics, wc-admin) incredibly slow

Hi,
I’m a web developer. I manage over 20 sites and I have a few clients who use WooCommerce as their ecommerce platform.
New features were added in WooCommerce versions 4.1-4.2 and they are incredibly slow to load on shared hosting servers.
I’m talking about these features:
– Marketing tab
– Analytics
– WC Dashboard
– WC admin bar(?)
Please add options to disable some or all these new and unneccesary features. Most of my clients don’t need or use these features and they only complicate and slow down the WordPress admin dashboard.
Also, more features = more things that can break or cause security issues.
What is Inbox anyway? Why is WooCommerce sending me messages or congratulating me about a sale? Why are you sending marketing messages through WooCommerce? I understand the freemium model and some occasional banners to upgrade to pro but come on.
99% of the time my clients use the Orders and Products tabs. That’s it.
WooCommerce is supposed to be lean and light.
Speed, reliability and customizability are the key reasons why I recommended WooCommerce to my clients in the first place.
If Automattic wants more revenue try creating useful paid addons like a better stock manager or some marketing addons. Don’t add bloat and up-sells to the WooCommerce core!
I sincerely hope you realize how much web developers and agencies can influence which platform our clients use. I have moved my customers away from certain plugins before and helped them make better decisions regarding their online presence.
Right now I have opted to use the Disable Woocommerce Bloat plugin to disable these unnessecary features but I hope WooCommerce adds an option to disable these unneccesary features natively.
I read your blog post about the version 4.1 features and it sounded like you just wanted to up-sell some extensions. Fine. Some store owners might have some use for these extensions but give developers and webmaster a way to disable these.

Good morning,
I’m really looking forward to using the Syntax Highlighter plugin. I can’t get it to work however… I installed the plugin, made sure the <?php wp_footer(); ?> is in the footer, and activated the plugin too. When I make use of the ‘Syntaxhighlighter Code’ block, I get the regular formatting.
Do you have any recommendations on what I could do to fix this?

Can’t delete data when clicked on uninstall

I’m trying to change my gmail From address, deleted the key in G Suite, deleted the plugin (with delete data checked in Misc), yet after reinstalling, all the old data and old From email remain intact.
Even with the new Client ID / Secret entered, when clicking Authorize: Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account, the authorization screen is calling the old Client ID, which has already been deleted in G Suite settings.
Therefore it does not succeed.
Originally, what I want to do is change the From email (same domain though). Can’t do it because the plugin does not actually delete all its data upon deletion of the plugin.
Love this plugin and really want to keep using it, I hope you can help!

Translation gone after we corrected a missing space in the original text

Hi why are translations gone when you have to correct a TYPO in the original language? We corrected a word – it was written together but correctly had to be separate 2 words so we added a space and all translation was immediately gone!
Is your plugin looking for the original text and than mixing that text ratherthan having a “identifier” of the content element and then this identifier will also call the translations – like it is done in TYPO3 or in Processwire.
It is actually pretty common to have spelling errors in texts and those need to get corrected despice what the translation is and it is a catastrophy and bad for an agency if then suddenly the translations the customer has entered are completely gone.
With WPML this is absolutely no problem – such corrections.

Not working with OneSIgnal

This plugin is working great, but it prevents OneSignal from working correctly.
The popup to allow messgaes is still shown, and the service worker is sort of started, but the devices never get added to the OneSignal Audience.
Can you check this and fix?

Piszę tutaj, ponieważ zwyczajnie sama już nie wiem jak mam rozwiązać ten problem…
Sierotki sklejają się w zajawce bez zostawienia wolnej przestrzeni i zamiast np. “o portalu” otrzymujemy “oportalu”. W css’ach nie widzę, gdzie mógłby być ten problem, zwłaszcza że w pozostałym tekście nie występuje…
Dałoby radę wesprzeć mnie w poszukiwaniu? 🙂

When you schedule a post and set it to post to social media it works fine if that post is to be published on the day it was written.
If you schedule it to post a few days later it doesnt post to any of the social media sites. But wil publish the post on your wordpress site.

I have a website about meanings of names, my post title is like “ALEX”, I want focus keyphrase to be automatically set “Meaning of ALEX”
“Meaning of” is fixed + the variable which is the post title.
I’m wondering if we can use variables for focus keyphrase the same way we use them for SEO title and description.
