Event Manager and WP Responsive Recent Post Slider/Carousel

Hi!
I’m trying to create an events calendar displayed on a slider layout. I’m using Event Manager and WP Responsive Recent Post Slider/Carousel.
I’ve seen here (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-display-events-from-events-manager/) that it is possible to change the “post type” to “events”, but it is not working in my case. I’ve checked in Page/Permanent slugs that the slug is “events”, but I am still getting the posts in the slider and not the Events created with Event Manager.
I was wondering also if the slider can be added to the home page. I´ve added the widget “Events” but it is displayed as a list and not with a slider.

Home page not being indexed

Hi all, I’ve had an issue the past few weeks after transferring my website to a new host – my homepage is no longer indexed by Google (Bing seems and Yandex seem OK) and my visitor numbers are way down.
I use Yoast SEO, and that tells me: “Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines. This is very bad for SEO and should be fixed.”
But it doesn’t tell me how to do so. I checked Jetpack in case it, too, was generating its own Sitemap. It was, so I turned that off, but there doesn’t seem to be any difference.
I’ve asked my new host to help, but they’re worse than useless. Robots.txt seems fine.
Google Search Console is giving me Server error (5xx). I have 178 pages “with errors” and 105 valid ones.
Any help gratefully received. I did wonder whether my new host generating an https address might have had something to do with it – my old host only gave me http. Now either work with my site.
Do I need to recreate/resubmit my sitemap maybe? If so, how?

Full page view not working

Hi! My full page view has stopped working. I have the Hemingway theme.
When I go to >Appearance > Customize, then I’m don’t see the “page layout” tab.
I’m not a programmer. So looking into the body if the code is scary to me.
Can you offer any help or suggestions?

I humbly call you for help in adding a ‘Contact Form’ created with WPFpms into the ‘Home” page section alongside the sliders, team and other sections..
I am worried if PHP would be the only option to do as I need to get in touch a developer!
I tried creating a new page for Forms under Home as parent page,,, Customization under Appearance, Editing and the Reading function General of Settings…
The request is simple: How to include a new Contact Form section or a new section into the default Home Page settings alongside existing sections!

Login Verification Loop

Hi,
I was suddenly and inexplicably logged out of my site and returned to the login page. When I tried to login I got the following message: “VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Additional verification is required for login. Please check the email address associated with the account for a verification link.”
I followed the link which takes me to the log in page followed by ?wfls-email-verification=… which gave me the message: “Email verification succeeded. Please continue logging in.”
However, when I then put in my username and password again I am given the VERIFICATION REQUIRED message all over again. I have now been through this three times in a row and am therefore unable to login. I am assuming from the url addition starting wfls that this is something to do with wordfence but recognise I could be wrong. Please advise so that I can get back into my own site.

Gedcom import not working

Hi, I have the premium version of TreePress and the latest version of WordPress, and I tried importing a Gedcom (which I exported from Reunion for Mac, using Gedcom character set UTF-8). It creates the Family Group, and the Family Tree page, but did not import any family members into WordPress. I tried both Gedcom 4.0 and Gedcom 5.5 – same result for both. Please help.

Paypal payments not received

Hi, I’m at a loss and don’t know what to do. For the last couple of months, payments with paypal on our website have been failing, on and off. Customers report entering their paypal details to pay and being taken back to the checkout/billing page of our website. We receive their order but not their payment. I have looked everywhere and cannot fix it. I have spoken to Paypal who said it’s not them, all their systems are operational. Could you please help? Thank you so much 🙂

nice but not used

The design is plain and improvable but there are some mistakes. answer voting did not work properly on me. notifications and statistics affect the work of each other and the numbers are mixed. When adding surveys is on, it does not allow creating questions without adding surveys. registration page is not smooth on mobile. page redirects are very bad and they do not translate all the fields when they install language packs. so I had to delete it and use another plugin.

Blocksy Companion break css

Hello there ! First i’m sorry for my English its not very good.
I started using Blocksy theme very recently (awesome btw, thanks for your work)
The theme was prompting me to install “Blocksy Companion” so i gave it a try.
When this plugin is active, it break the CSS on my website, when its not everything is fine.
Everything is up to date, no other plugins installed beside companion.

Smush crashes pictures in Envira gallery

Hey,
I just installed smush today on my blog to try out the lazy loading feature – unfortunately smush crashed my envira gallery completely, leading to the result that a huge empty space is shown at the beginning of the page, and at the bottom of the page all pictures from the gallery are shown, squeezed together.
Does anyone have a hint how I could resolve that problem?

Multiple problems

Hi,
I meet a several problems with the plugin.
1. I can’t translate Results & Vote buttons in my native language, and that’s quite important to do. I tried with LOCO translate and with searching in the php files, but I can’t find anything.
Will be thankful if you help me with this.
2. Whatever theme I choose, the results are not showing in full.
I have 37 results, for example, with theme Total Soft Poll 2 (which is not really relevant in the case) and only 30 from them are showing in the results, without actually have the possibility for scrolling to the next 7 results.
It’s even worse with the results when using the image poll.
The first 10 are appearing and taking the whole page.
There is not a home/back to vote button, too…
After voting , you can only see part of the results without the option to turn back.
I tried with changing the max height in the php file with 100% as I saw something similar in the topics around, but it’s not working.

creating a space between header image and front page slider

I’m new to this a bit, and have looked up many varying ways to try and separate the header photo and the front page slider so they are not touching/butting up against each other but i cant seem to find a way to do it. I have tried both the elementor and customizer but to no avail.
Any thoughts?
is it something simple i have missed?
