Translation of Subscription module of JetPack Plugin

When someone subscribes to receive notifications of new posts she gets an email translated into Portuguese (my language). After accepting the subscription email she receives a welcome email written in English! Why?

Also, when some fills the form to subscribe for new posts, it returns a message in English (“Success! An email was just sent to confirm your subscription. Please find the email now and click ‘Confirm Follow’ to start subscribing.”).

Why? The form (prior to submission – https://snag.gy/vz5yh4.jpg) is in Portuguese. Why is Jetpack plugin mixing both languages?
