Working on a site for a client who has quite a few nexgen Gallery galleries. When I score the site with GT Metrix, it tells me “The following images are resized in HTML or CSS.” Then gives a long list.
I have repeatedly clicked on “Manage galleries”. Then bulk applied “create new thumbnails”.
I even logged in via ftp, browsed to the wp-content/gallery/nameofgallery/thumbs directory and all the files have today’s datestamp. I can download them and they are the correct size.
So why are the thumbnails not being displayed instead of a scaled down version of the original?
