Problem with the opt-out banner

Hello,

I have a problem with the opt-out banner as I sad in the Title.
So my problem is that the banner reappears every time I reload the Page even if I clicked on it to opt-out.

I don’t know if I just forgot to set something up because I’m preaty new to WordPress or if this is a bug.

Does somebody has an idea what the problem could be?

EDIT:
Problem solved by my self.
I site is using jquery 1.4.3, because the admin of this site befor me didn’t updatet it for some reason, and the function which is needed for that was first introduced in jquery 1.7.
