translate category base slug

Hello,

Is it possible to translate the base slug category in french ie : categorie

So far, all wordpress files are fully translated, and there no such translation available in the theme.

Can you help me to modify the permalink : http://www.domainname.fr/category/ to http://www.domainname.fr/categorie/
