Japanese Customers having issues while making payment

Hi
I have one question i have store to selling digital product with Membership plan, but having issues for Japanese Customers, when they make payment using debit card, not able to make payment, having some issues. So they need to follow something while they make payment ? like

日本のお客様 / Japanese Customers: Enter your postcode like this: 123-4567, NOT 1234567.

is there any issues related to Charterer set ?
