I have on on-going issue with the Add On. I kept hoping updates would fix this but nothing has changed.
When on a post, the social media icons do not work, and using the Inspector you can see the html is mangled. Here is the site: http://marthalwilliams.com/cost-of-a-new-website-part-2/
I have been told it is a javascript error and uninstall the plugins until I find the offending conflict.
Here’s what I’ve done: uninstalled ALL of the plug ins – no luck.
Changed the theme, deleted it, reinstalled. No luck.
Latest:
I log in to wp-admin. View site. Navigate to a blog page. Click customize at the top. After a series of expanding black circles, I get the message that there was a problem opening the customizer and use debug to report errors. Firebug says there are no scripts. The customize theme page does open but without the edit icons.
If I start the other way – from the Dashboard, Theme Customize and then try to navigate to a post, the furthest in I can get is to the post page. The customizer will not open a post item.
Any suggestions? Is this a database error? My test site running on my local machine works fine. Everything else works too.
